DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the environment! Don’t miss this chance for a fun night out on the last day of our Pop-up Native Plant Garden! Enjoy light fare and craft brews from Newtown Brewing Company (a member of Audubon’s Brewers for the Delaware River Association)\, before taking in four short films about our connection to the Delaware River\, the links between critical fish populations it supports and our local economy\, and the importance of native plants in keeping our water clean and providing habitat for birds. \nFollowing the films\, join our panel of experts – including one of the filmmakers – for a conversation about these important issues and how you can help to protect the resources we all need. \nAttendees will be eligible to win some of the beautiful plants in the garden when we raffle them off to take home. \nTickets to this exciting event will be available at https://www.thenewtowntheatre.com/events/2019/9/19/newtown-environmental-fest! \nThe Newtown Native Plant Project (NNPP) is an initiative of the Newtown Township\, Environmental Advisory Council\, Newtown Borough\, Bucks County Audubon Society\, Audubon Pennsylvania\, and Newtown volunteers.
