SUMMARY:Nature's Healing Powers
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a relaxing\, guided nature walk and create a small horticultural craft project focusing on the sensory aspects of herbs. \nExperience how being outdoors can decrease stress\, improve focus\, and enhance overall well-being\, all while supporting physical fitness. \nThe visual connection with nature\, the presence of water\, dynamic and diffuse lighting\, and spatial patterns support a natural sense of refuge\, mystery\, or awe that we all need. \nA small horticultural craft project will follow the 45-minute nature walk. \nParticipants should be able to walk for at least 45 minutes and manage rough terrain. \n$10 Members\n$15 Non-Members\nAll materials included\nPurchase tickets here. \nNancy Minich\, HTR\, RLA\, is a registered horticultural therapist and landscape architect who has run the horticultural therapy program at Honey Hollow for the past 8 years. She designed Honey Hollow’s healing garden and the raised garden bed in the community garden. She has practiced horticultural therapy and landscape architecture for many decades and started the horticultural therapy certificate program at Delaware Valley University.
