DESCRIPTION:Local bird photographers\, Harris and Fran Brown\, are displaying their incredible pieces here at BCAS for one month as part of our “Rotating Artist Display!” Their last day on display is December 6th. \nFrom waterfowl\, to songbirds\, to raptors\, this couple has captured it all in mesmerizing color and detail. All work is for sale with 25% of the proceeds going back to support the high-quality environmental education programs here at Bucks County Audubon Society. \nThe exhibit is open during normal business hours (Mon-Fri\, 10am-4pm)\, with occasional weekend hours. Please call in advance to see what weekends are available. \n  \n

DESCRIPTION:Join the nation’s longest running citizen science bird project by participating in the 118th Christmas Bird Count! It’s fun and easy and helps scientists understand what’s going on with our birds!\n\nThe data collected by observers over the past century allow Audubon researchers\, conservation biologists\, wildlife agencies and other interested individuals to study the long-term health and status of bird populations across North America. When combined with other surveys such as the Breeding Bird Survey\, it provides a picture of how the continent’s bird populations have changed in time and space over the past hundred years.\n\nThe long term perspective is vital for conservationists. It informs strategies to protect birds and their habitat\, and helps identify environmental issues with implications for people as well.\n\nAdmission is free\, but registration is required!\nClick here to register!
