SUMMARY:Raptor Run 5K & Family Fun Run
DESCRIPTION:Participants can choose to join us in-person on Wednesday\, June 2nd (6:30 for the Fun Run and 7:00 for the 5K Trail Run) or choose a virtual option (run a 5K anytime during the month on June and submit your time to us). \nCross country trail run through the forests\, stream side\, and meadows of Bucks Audubon’s’ 55 acre nature preserve that includes two stream crossings\, great views of the Audubon Pond\, and acres of beautiful spring flowers in the fields. All proceeds from the race will benefit the Bucks County Audubon Society and proudly support our high-quality environmental education programs. \nAMENITIES: Indoor facilities.  Stay and enjoy our After Party with food and beverages for all racers.  Held rain or shine.  No refunds or mailed awards.  Results on www.pretzelcitysports.com in 1-2 days.  ALL 5K runners (in-person and virtual) and Fun Run participants will receive a wooden participation medal and a t-shirt (while supplies last). \n5K AWARDS: Awards to the top male and top female finishers\, and the top three (3) finishers in each of the following age groups\, both male and female: 19 & Under\, 20-29\, 30-39\, 40-49\, 50-59\, 60+    Virtual 5K participants are not eligible for awards. \nHOW:  To register for the 5K (in-person or virtual) or Fun Run\, $25 for Non-Members/$20 for BCAS Members if registered by May 7th\, with guaranteed T-Shirt Size\, After May 7th including race day $30 for Non-Members/$25 for BCAS Members\, shirts will be available while supplies last. Virtual Runners Shirt & Participation Awards will be mailed to you at the address provided. SUMMARY:Wildflower Arrangement Class with The Art of Ecology
DESCRIPTION:The summer is known for being a bright\, warm\, and colorful season\, so let’s celebrate it! Join Marissa with The Art of Ecology on June 11th at 6:30pm as she guides you around the Bucks County Audubon Society to search for and identify local wildflowers that do well in arrangements. She will also instruct participants about wildflower picking etiquette and how to avoid harvesting native species that require extra care. \nEach participant can expect to bring home one floral arrangement each. Flowers\, materials\, and vase provided. Event is BYOB.  \nAdmission is $25/pp. A portion of the proceeds is donated back to Bucks Audubon and benefits our high-quality environmental education programming. \nRegister online here

SUMMARY:Dragonfly Yoga Walks
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a mindful walk through nature\, pausing at certain points for standing asana and/or meditation. We’ll explore tips on proper walking posture and ways to protect your body going up and down hills. Suitable for all yoga levels. No mat needed\, but proper walking shoes are important for natural trails! \nHoney Hollow is a peaceful property home to a 1936 renovated barn that serves as the visitor center. All of this is surrounded by 110-acres of beautiful Bucks County\, with 6 miles of trails\, meadows\, forests\, ponds\, wetlands\, and streams. \nCome deepen your yoga practice and connect with nature! \nEVERY OTHER FRIDAY\, 3:30 – 4:30 PM (Starting June 18)\nBuy a single credit for $17 or use your class package.  Sign up on our calendar link shown below. \nGroups will be limited in size.\nPlease wear a mask if you are not vaccinated and at any point you are not able to socially distance\, or you are in the visitor center.\nRestrooms will be available in the visitor center.
