DESCRIPTION:In 2022 almost 2\,500 photographers from across the United States and Canada submitted nearly 10\,000 photographs and videos to Audubon’s 13th annual Audubon Photography Awards. Come see these stunning\, large-format examples of the prize winning photos along with background on how they were obtained.  \nOn Saturday January 28 join us for a wine and cheese reception at 3pm.  National Geographic Certified Educator Marissa Jacobs will speak on “Telling the Story of the Natural World Through Photography”.  For tickets to the opening reception\, click here! \nExhibit is open during our normal business hours Monday through Friday 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.

DESCRIPTION:Great Backyard Bird Count and Winter Hike: The Great Backyard Bird Count (GBBC) is a community science project launched in 1998 in the US that expanded world-wide in 2013. Join thousands of birders reporting their data over a four day period. These observations help scientists better understand global bird populations before one of their annual migrations. Meet at the Visitor Center at 2pm for a brief introduction to the count and then let’s take a bird walk!  Dress for the weather.  FREE
