DESCRIPTION:Explore the many pigments and hues that locally foraged and gardened plants create and make your own beautiful t-shirt during this Botanical Dye workshop! \nWe will take a foraging walk around the property to identify local wild trees and plants whose constituents any phytochemicals can be used to create gorgeous dyes and pigments for textiles. Then\, we will head back to the center to dye our shirts. Rubber bands and string will be provided to tie-dye shirts if desired! A majority of the program will take place outside. Pease dress according to the weather.
