SUMMARY:Nest Watch Volunteer Training 2026
DESCRIPTION:NestWatch is a community science project administered by Cornell Lab of Ornithology designed to track the status and trends in the reproductive biology of birds. This training session will instruct participants on how to properly monitor their assigned nest boxes\, the Nest Watch Code of Conduct\, the nest monitoring protocol\, and the use of the NestWatch website and mobile app.  \nThe ability to walk reasonable distances over uneven terrain and a commitment to monitoring the assigned boxes twice per week during the nesting season are required to participate.  \nFree\, but registration is required. Register here. \nThe maximum number of participants is 12.

DESCRIPTION:In 2022 almost 2\,500 photographers from across the United States and Canada submitted nearly 10\,000 photographs and videos to Audubon’s 13th annual Audubon Photography Awards. Come see these stunning\, large-format examples of the prize winning photos along with background on how they were obtained.  \nOn Saturday January 28 join us for a wine and cheese reception at 3pm.  National Geographic Certified Educator Marissa Jacobs will speak on “Telling the Story of the Natural World Through Photography”.  For tickets to the opening reception\, click here! \nExhibit is open during our normal business hours Monday through Friday 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.
