DESCRIPTION:Where: BCAS Visitor Center is the starting point.  \nCOURSE: This cross country trail race runs through our forests\, along stream sides\, and through our beautiful meadows of our 55 acre nature preserve! There are two stream crossings\, views of the Audubon Pond\, and acres of wildflowers in the fields. Family run will include a scavenger hunt through out the course. \nAMENITIES: T-shirt to all pre-registrants of 5K and Family Fun Run (if mailing registration in\, must be postmarked by May 22nd!). After party with bonfire\, food\, and beverages for all racers (fee for non-runners to attend party). No refunds or mailed awards. Race results will be on pretzelcitysports.com in 1-2 days after race. \nAWARDS: Awards go to the top 3 (male/female)  finishers\, and the top 3 finishers (male/female) in each of the following age groups: -14\, 15-19\, 20-29\, 30-39\, 40-49\, 50-59\, 60-69 and 70+. \nHOW TO REGISTER:  Click HERE to register! Entry fee is $20/BCAS Members\, and $25/Non-Members. DESCRIPTION:The National Audubon has selected contest winners from over 7\,000 entries—submitted from all 50 states\, DC\, and Canada—the winning photos were published in the May-June 2016 issue of Audubon magazine. These photos are now being sent from Audubon Chapter to Chapter to be on display for a few weeks. BCAS is honored to be able to display these award winning photographs. \nHalf of the species in the winning and honored photos are birds identified as threatened or endangered by climate change in Audubon’s Birds and Climate Change Report \, which shows that 314 bird species in North America face an uncertain future due to shifting climatic suitability.
