Best of the Nest

Join Honey Hollow Nature Center this spring as we partner with Peddler’s Village and AIA Bucks County to present Best of the Nest, a birdhouse competition and display.   

Spring is the perfect season to get outside, embrace creativity, and connect with nature! This exciting event is open to all—kids, adults, and professionals alike—offering a unique opportunity to showcase your artistic flair, construction skills, and love for birds and the great outdoors. 

This is a fun and rewarding project, and it supports local wildlife by creating safe spaces for birds to thrive during nesting season. Plus, fantastic prizes are up for grabs and the chance to see your creation admired by the community.

Bird Talk: Birds and Boxes

Join us for a two-part presentation, “Birds and Boxes,” that will improve your birdhouse–and your chances of winning a prize. Learn about bird habitats and behaviors and basic birdhouse design principles such as form and function to help you creation of you own special home for birds! The presentation will include a question-and-answer session.
