Adventure awaits!
We offer two adult-led summer camps: Nature Exploration Camp for children aged 4-6, and Summer Adventure Camp for children aged 6-12. Each week features nature exploration, physical activity, science learning, unstructured play, and quiet times to connect with the natural world.

June 15-19, 2026
WETLANDS & WATERSHEDS
Learn what makes the Honey Hollow watershed so special. Watersheds are an important place where many different plants and animals call their home! Take time to explore the wetlands that are a part of our watershed.
June 22-26, 2026
NATURE SUPERPOWERS
From invisibility to regeneration, nature is full of wild and wonderful powers! Campers will explore the super strength of spider silk, mind-bending camouflage, the shocking ability of some fish, and more. We’ll discover how different species are nature’s superheroes through hands-on activities, animal encounters, and creative challenges. We may even unlock some powers of our own!
July 13-17, 2026
WILD SURVIVAL
Learn about wild survival and what it takes to make it through any situation in the safety of a summer camp environment. Campers will even go through a mock first aid training to find “missing camp counselors”!
July 20-24, 2026
ENCHANTED FORESTS
Step into the world of magic and mystery hidden beneath the trees. Campers will explore woodland wonders, build fairy houses, and search for the secret signs of woodland creatures. This imaginative camp blends science with folklore to bring the enchanted side of nature to life!

SLIMY & SCALY CREATURES
Join us for an exciting reptile and amphibian-themed week to explore their native habitats and meet our very own reptiles and amphibians housed here at the nature center!
August 3-7, 2026
BUGS
Did you know insects live in every type of habitat? Join us and discover the thousands of insects that call the Honey Hollow home! Explore habitats to see what types of insects and other crawling, flying, and swimming arthropods we can find.
August 10-14, 2026
PREHISTORIC PLANET
Travel back in time to when ancient animals ruled the earth! Campers will dig for fossils, travel back in time, and walk in the tracks of dinosaurs. This summer, bring the prehistoric world to life through hands-on exploration, games, and creative play.
August 17-21, 2026
NATURE'S ARCHITECTS
Nature is home to some of the world’s best builders, and this week we are learning about their secrets! Birds can weave, and beavers can create dams. Campers will investigate animal-made structures and try their hands on constructing their own.
August 24-28, 2026
CREEK WEEK
August is typically a HOT time of year so why not cool off and play in the creek all week? You’ll definitely want to bring a change of clothes and water shoes for this exciting week, completely dedicated to creek time.

HALF DAYS, 9 am – noon
$210/week – Rate with Family/Household Membership

Summer Adventure Camp
Ages 6-12
FULL DAY OPTION: 9 am – 3 pm
$345/week – Rate with Family/Household Membership
$395/week – Rate for Non-Members
HALF DAY OPTION: 9 am-12 pm
$210/week – Rate with Family/Household Membership
$240/week – Rate for Non-Members
Summer Camp Cancellation Policy
We require full payment at the time of registration to guarantee a spot in our summer day camp.
Cancellation 30 days or more prior to start of camp will receive full refund; cancellation between 14 and 29 days prior to camp start will receive a fifty percent refund. No refund will be given for cancellations less than 2 weeks prior to camp start.
